Authorities are seeking public assistance after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a bus in Poole. The incident took place on a bus traveling along the Bournemouth Road on the evening of Saturday, September 30.
Dorset Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe may have information related to the case. They are urging anyone who recognizes this individual to reach out to them, emphasizing that any details could be vital in their investigation.
The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. when the 16-year-old girl was approached by the man in the rear section of the bus. He is described as a white male, with a short beard and dark hair, wearing a black jacket, jeans, and trainers.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Bickley stated, "We are committed to thoroughly investigating this incident, which is understandably very upsetting for the victim." Police have assured the public that they take such allegations seriously.
"Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to contact Dorset Police," added Detective Sergeant Bickley, underlining the importance of community involvement in addressing crime.
