Martin Lewis urges O2 'boycott' as customer saves £459 after ditch and switch

Consumer advocate Martin Lewis has taken a strong stance against O2, urging customers to abandon the network due to its latest price hikes. This call for a boycott comes as individuals are reportedly saving substantial amounts—up to £459—by switching to more affordable alternatives. Lewis is rallying support for those who feel burdened by O2's increased charges, emphasizing that customers should consider leaving to send a clear message to the company.

During a recent segment, Lewis highlighted the overwhelming response he received regarding the price hikes, showcasing the discontent among O2 users. "Martin, we had an enormous response to your callout last week, saying that people could leave O2 because it's hiking its price hike, if you like. Just wanted to show you a few messages - this has come in from Nicola," said Martin's co-presenter Jeanette Kwayke on ITV1.

The surge in customer dissatisfaction underscores a growing sentiment against telecom providers that embrace such financial practices. Lewis's advocacy for consumers encourages them to take control of their financial choices, particularly amid rising living costs. By switching to competitors with better deals, customers can significantly reduce their monthly expenses, challenging O2 to reconsider its pricing strategies.
