## Urgent notice emphasizes the importance of securing proper travel documentation.

Senator Marco Rubio has raised an important alert for individuals planning to attend the FIFA World Cup in the United States. In a recent announcement, he clarified the necessity for attendees to secure visas ahead of the event. Rubio’s advisory comes as preparations intensify for the tournament, scheduled to take place in multiple U.S. cities, spotlighting the need for timely action by ticket holders.

In a discussion with the FIFA World Cup Task Force at the White House, Rubio emphasized that owning a ticket does not equate to having a visa. "Your ticket is not your visa. It does not guarantee admission into the US. It guarantees an expedited appointment," he stated. This warning serves as a crucial reminder as the event approaches, underlining that attendees should not postpone their visa applications.

The U.S. has taken proactive steps to accommodate the influx of visitors anticipated during the World Cup. Rubio noted, "We've deployed over 400 additional consular offices around the world to deal with that." In addition, he mentioned improvements to existing processes, asserting that "we've been doubling the size of the consular offices in our embassies in certain countries," ensuring that "in 80% of the world you can get an appointment within 60 days."

Attendees are urged to act swiftly and not delay their visa applications. Rubio cautioned, "Don't wait until the last minute," emphasizing that timely planning is essential to ensure a smooth entry into the United States for the prestigious tournament.
