Police Seek Unredacted Epstein Files in Prince Andrew Investigation

# Major Police Update on Epstein Files Relating to Prince Andrew
Police officials are intensifying their efforts to acquire unredacted files pertaining to Prince Andrew's connections with Jeffrey Epstein. This comes after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest last month amid serious allegations. Officers have formally requested cooperation from U.S. authorities to obtain these vital documents.
The Metropolitan Police Service, represented by Assistant Commissioner Angela Rowley, has noted that the files may contain “a whole range of suggested sexual allegations.” Rowley emphasized the necessity of these documents for a thorough investigation, stating, “We need the unredacted evidence.” There is a belief that the released material could significantly contribute to understanding the extent of the claims against Andrew.
Rowley further commented on the importance of these files for legal processes, saying, “Of course, there's a big body of that evidence... in the United States in all those files and at some stage we're going to need the unredacted evidence. We need the original copy, and where it came from, and that's going to be necessary if we get to the stage of court cases.” This highlights the police's determination to pursue potential criminal investigations related to the allegations.
Police inquiries are ongoing as they prepare for the possibility of future court proceedings. The acquisition of this evidence is deemed essential to substantiating claims that may “merit a criminal investigation.”
