EDF Energy Launches 64-Hour Free Electricity Scheme for Customers

# UK Energy Firm Offers Customers 64 Hours of Free Electricity
## EDF Energy Introduces New Savings Scheme for Households
EDF Energy has announced an innovative plan aimed at reducing energy costs for its customers by providing them with a remarkable 64 hours of free electricity. This initiative is set to allow consumers to flexibly adjust their energy consumption in a bid to save on monthly bills.
The scheme encourages users to participate in the "Sunday Saver" challenge, which offers participants currently earning approximately 18 hours of free electricity each month the chance to significantly increase their savings. By committing to modify their energy usage each Sunday, customers can potentially amass an impressive average of 266 hours of complimentary electricity, translating to savings of around £96 on their annual energy expenses.
Mr. Souto also described the program as "a straightforward way to ease pressure on bills while supporting a more sustainable electricity grid." This initiative not only helps families manage their energy costs but also promotes a shift towards more environmentally conscious energy consumption practices.
The roll-out of this plan reflects EDF Energy's commitment to assisting its customers in navigating the complexities of rising energy prices, while also pursuing sustainable energy solutions for the future.
