Energy Bills Expected to Decrease in April, Says Martin Lewis

# UK Energy Bill Prices Set to Fall as Martin Lewis Urges Immediate Action

## Martin Lewis highlights the impending energy tariff reductions.

Martin Lewis, the well-known financial expert, has emphasized that energy bill prices across the UK are projected to decrease come April. In a recent Instagram video, he informed the public that all energy tariffs, including fixed rates, will experience a drop in costs. He confirmed, "All tariffs, even if you are already on a fix, will see the rate dropping in April. People on an existing fix, that price is going to come down too."

Lewis advised consumers to consider switching their energy deals now to capitalize on upcoming changes. He stressed that high-usage, electricity-only customers will benefit the most from adjustments in pricing but noted that everyone should expect to see some form of reduction. “Overall, the biggest winners here are those who are high-using, electricity-only customers. But everyone should see a reduction in general, apart from the very lowest users, and even then, it will be trivial once you add up gas and electricity together,” he stated.

This announcement comes amid widespread concern over energy costs and ongoing discussions about affordability among households in the UK. Lewis has consistently urged residents to actively engage with their energy providers and explore better deals, enhancing their financial situation during this period of change. He concluded by reiterating the importance of action, reminding everyone that they "should get off it" if they are on a fixed rate that no longer serves their best interests.
