Trump Signals Readiness to Invoke Insurrection Act Amid Minnesota Unrest

# Trump 'ready to invoke Insurrection Act and send troops into Minnesota'

US President Donald Trump has expressed his willingness to invoke the Insurrection Act as tensions rise in Minnesota. This announcement comes amid reports of unrest that he claims is being fueled by "corrupt politicians" and "professional agitators."

In a post on Truth Social, Trump declared that if Minnesota's officials fail to maintain order, he will take decisive action. “If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State," Trump stated.

The President’s comments highlight his frustration with what he perceives as a lack of support for federal law enforcement. The situation has drawn attention to Minnesota’s ongoing challenges and potential federal intervention.

Trump's declaration signals a significant escalation in response efforts if the situation does not improve. His commitment to deploying troops underscores his administration's stance on maintaining order and prioritizing the enforcement of immigration laws.
