# Tony Hadley Reveals Health Struggles Following Surgery
Tony Hadley, the former lead singer of Spandau Ballet, has shared significant updates on his health after undergoing knee surgery. The artist expressed his relief and optimism about his recovery following the procedure, which took place shortly after his last tour.
Hadley disclosed that he received a knee replacement, stating, “I've got a brand new knee, so I'm not limping anymore. I had a knee replacement just after the last swing tour.” This operation has marked a turning point in his life, enabling him to return to physical activities that he had previously struggled with.
In his remarks about his recovery process, Hadley noted the speed of his recuperation, saying, “It was pretty quick. I'm back in the gym now, which is great. I haven't been able to do any training for three and a half years. I've had various problems, and so now I'm lucky, I've got a gym at home, so I'm in the gym.” He has been actively engaging with outdoor activities as well, “I'm walking across fields and things like that, and I'm doing pretty good.” This positive outlook reflects his determination to regain his health after a challenging period.
