# Ryanair Passenger 'Traumatised' After Mid-Air Emergency Resembles 'Horror Movie'

## Intense experience described by a traveler on flight FR1121 from Birmingham to Tenerife

A passenger aboard Ryanair flight FR1121 from Birmingham to Tenerife has described a terrifying mid-air incident that she likened to a "horror movie." The episode unfolded shortly after the aircraft took off on 28th December, prompting an emergency return to Birmingham Airport.

The woman, a passenger from Lichfield, detailed the swift and intense turbulence, stating, "We were smooth cruising then out of nowhere all of a sudden the plane jerked to the left extremely quickly and then to the right. It felt like a loss of control, and then we plummeted down and we were flung out of our seats." The shocking events left her feeling deeply shaken, explaining, "I came out physically unharmed but the mental toll this has taken is awful... this has really traumatised me."

According to Ryanair, the flight encountered significant air turbulence shortly after takeoff. The aircraft returned and landed safely back at Birmingham Airport, where a few passengers received medical assistance. Cabin crew members disclosed that they had never experienced a situation comparable to this in their ten years of service. Despite the chaos, the flight eventually continued to Tenerife at 21:06 local time.
