Pilot Shares Effective Strategy for Managing Jet Lag on Long Flights

### Pilot Employs Simple Strategy to Beat Jet Lag on Long Haul Flights
Many seasoned travellers are all too familiar with the exhausting effects of jet lag. For pilots flying long distances, such disruptions can be particularly challenging, yet some have found effective ways to manage it. Alfonso, an experienced pilot, has shared his approach to maintaining energy levels during flights and upon arrival at new destinations.
Alfonso revealed that he aims to keep his schedule adjustments minimal. "The reality is that I try to change my schedule as little as possible. I arrive at my destination at 8pm, which is 2am in Spain, and I go straight to bed. I don't go out for dinner, I don't go out for a drink," he explained. This disciplined method allows him to transition smoothly into the local time zone.
His advice extends to how he resumes daily life after travelling. "You'll adjust much more quickly than if you do it on your own. And when you return, it's exactly the same. That's why when you arrive, you might sleep for a little while, but I immediately set my alarm clock to wake myself up and get on with my daily life," Alfonso stated. By following this strategy, he effectively combats the disorienting nature of long haul flights, ensuring he remains productive and alert.
