The incident unfolded at 2 p.m. with a lack of coordination, leaving passengers stranded without updates. By midnight, one concerned traveler voiced their dissatisfaction, stating, "Midnight now. We've been waiting here since 2 p.m., and they have no update for us. What's even worse is they've shut down all kitchens, coffee, etc. Why would they do that?" according to the criticism shared on social media.
In response to the predicament, Disney acknowledged the unfortunate circumstance and expressed commitment to assist guests with their travel arrangements. Disney stated, "We completely understand this was an unfortunate situation for our guests and worked with them directly to support their travel needs, help make their trip home as smooth as possible, and invite them back to a future sailing."
