OKX, MetaMask, and Matter Labs Launch Internet Court for AI Dispute Resolution

# OKX, MetaMask, Matter Labs Unite for Court to Resolve AI Agent Disputes

Prominent companies OKX, MetaMask, and Matter Labs are collaborating to establish a specialized court known as “Internet Court.” This initiative aims to offer a formal mechanism for dispute resolution specifically for artificial intelligence (AI) agents. This development was announced earlier this month.

The Internet Court intends to provide a neutral venue for AI agents to address conflicts that may arise in transactions. This model is essential as the speed of digital transactions increases, requiring equally swift legal resolutions. David Riudor, CEO and co-founder of the GenLayer Foundation, emphasized the need for this court by stating, "Internet Court is the shared place agents can turn to when a deal goes wrong. Machine-speed money needs machine-speed adjudication."

The establishment of this court is designed to facilitate collaboration among AI agents. Castellana, a key figure behind the initiative, noted, "Internet Court makes them work together." This structure aims to unify a currently fragmented landscape, allowing financial agreements made by AI agents to be upheld, even amidst disputes. Castellana added, "With our founding members, we're turning a fragmented space into a single open skill that any agent can use to make financial commitments hold up, even when they're contested."
