Study Shows Regular Black Tea Consumption Linked to 22% Lower Heart Disease Risk

# New Data Reveals Common Drink Reduces Heart Disease Risk by 22%
Research shows that drinking black tea can significantly lower the risk of heart disease. The findings indicate that regular black tea consumption is linked to a 22% reduced chance of developing coronary heart disease.
A large analysis looked at nearly one million adults and found that drinking black tea regularly is associated with a lower risk of this serious condition. Researchers suggest that flavonoids, which are natural compounds in tea, play an important role in this effect. The TAP survey review notes that the average Brit drinks between four and five cups of tea a day.
To gain the most health benefits from tea's phytonutrients, it's recommended to brew tea for at least two minutes, according to Dr Bond. This brewing time helps to release more of the beneficial compounds into the drink, enhancing its health-promoting effects.
