**Woman Misdiagnosed with Menopause Discovers She Has a Brain Tumour**

**Mum Told Her Symptoms Were Menopause Now Faces Limited Life Expectancy**
Claire Nutter, a mother, received alarming news after years of being misdiagnosed. Doctors initially attributed her symptoms to menopause, but she has now been informed that she has a brain tumour.
Claire reported symptoms like fainting and feeling ill when moving from a seated position. She explained, "When you look back, my symptoms were very typical of someone who has a brain tumour." Claire was given a life expectancy of 10 to 15 years, with about six or seven "good years" before the tumour becomes more apparent.
The stress of her condition has also led to social anxiety. "When people are all around me, it's given me a type of social anxiety and I can't cope with crowded spaces where so many conversations are going on in one room at the same time," Claire shared.
Claire's story highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis and the potential consequences of misinterpreting symptoms.
