Met Office warns of rain and thunderstorms in southern England on Thursday

# Met Office delivers forecast for rain and thunderstorms on Thursday

The Met Office has issued a weather update concerning potential rain and thunderstorms expected later this week, particularly on Thursday. This advisory highlights conditions that may predominantly affect the southern regions of England.

According to Deputy Chief Forecaster Steven Keates, "The overall pattern continues to remain settled with large amounts of sunshine though this week, and temperatures peaking around 30C–32C across parts of England and Wales." He noted that while there is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms in some isolated areas, these occurrences are projected to be sporadic.

Keates further mentioned that "there's a chance of some showers and thunderstorms in isolated spots in the south of England on Wednesday and Thursday, but these are likely to be sporadic in nature, and many people won't see any rain this week." This indicates that the bulk of the week will be marked by warm, sunny weather, with few people experiencing significant rainfall.

The extended forecast suggests that citizens can expect warmer temperatures throughout the week, making it a perfect time for outdoor activities, despite the slim chance of rain.
