Martin Lewis Urges High Earners to Apply for HMRC Benefits

### Martin Lewis Encourages High Earners to Claim HMRC Benefit
Money expert Martin Lewis has emphasized that individuals earning over £60,000 should still apply for benefits from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Despite what many may assume, those earning above this threshold are still entitled to benefits, and Lewis is urging them not to overlook this opportunity.
Lewis pointed out that even people with incomes exceeding £80,000 should consider applying for Child Benefit, particularly if one partner is not employed. “Worth saying even if you're above £80,000, if one of you isn't working, they should be claiming Child Benefit at zero rate, ie claiming it but saying don't give me any, because that's what triggers your National Insurance credits, which goes towards your state pension," he stated.
The push from Lewis is aimed at ensuring that families do not miss out on potential financial support that can contribute to their long-term security, particularly regarding pension entitlements. By making this information public, he seeks to raise awareness and help those in higher income brackets secure their rightful benefits.
