Gatwick Airport, a key hub for easyJet, Jet2, and British Airways, is set to launch new night train services aimed at improving rail connectivity for travelers. Mark Hopwood, GWR's managing director, emphasized the importance of these trial services, stating, “The trial will help us understand whether overnight services can work operationally and commercially on this route.” This testing phase will not only assess passenger demand but also the overall effectiveness of late-night rail options.
