Nestlé Issues Urgent Recall of SMA Baby Formula Over Toxin Concerns

# Major Brand Initiates Urgent Recall After Toxin Found in Baby Formula
## Nestlé recalls SMA infant formula and follow-on formula due to health hazard
Nestlé has announced a significant recall affecting batches of its SMA infant formula and follow-on formula. The recall was prompted by the detection of cereulide, a harmful toxin known to cause nausea and vomiting.
This precautionary measure takes effect immediately, targeting specific batches of the product. Nestlé is taking responsible steps to ensure public safety, and in the event that further recalls are necessary, the company intends to inform consumers promptly.
"Both recalls are due to the presence of cereulide, a toxin that can cause vomiting and nausea. If further recalls are needed, we will announce them immediately," stated Ms Wild.
Parents are urged to check their supplies and dispose of any affected products to prevent potential health risks.
