Krishnan Guru-Murthy, a prominent journalist and news presenter, has had a noteworthy private life that includes a 21-year marriage and struggles with serious health issues. Guru-Murthy has been married for over two decades. He was introduced to his wife, Lisa, by mutual friend and colleague, Tim Hincks. "Tim worked with me on a show and introduced me to Lisa, who worked with his wife, Pippa," Guru-Murthy noted. Their wedding beautifully celebrated both Indian and British cultures. Despite his professional successes, Guru-Murthy has faced significant health challenges. He disclosed that he has a genetic heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which has notably affected his family, resulting in the deaths of two cousins. "I've got various health issues, which I'm constantly aware of. I've got a genetic heart condition – hypertrophic cardiomyopathy – which has killed two of my cousins, Crohn's disease, various other things I won't bore you with," he explained.
