Jet2 Urges Early Check-In for Passengers Due to Airport Delays

# Jet2 Issues New Check-In Guidelines for Passengers Heading to Europe
## Airline Addresses Delays Amid Long Security Passport Queues
Jet2 has released a message concerning check-in procedures for passengers travelling to popular European holiday destinations. With the summer travel season in full swing, the airline aims to prepare its customers for potential delays at airports, particularly in the Faro area.
Faro Airport has received reports of extensive security passport queues, leading to calls for improved efficiency. In response, Jet2 emphasizes that travelers on international flights should arrive earlier than usual to navigate possible border control issues. A recent post on the airport's Facebook page cautioned, "Due to possible border control constraints, we recommend that passengers on international flights (extra EU) arrive at the airport in greater advance. Plan your trip well and avoid unforeseen things."
To further facilitate a smooth travel experience, Faro Airport advises, "In order to avoid delays and make the most of your pre-boarding time, please respect your airline's minimum check-in time. Like that, you also avoid the risk of arriving after check-in closes." For non-Schengen flights, this check-in period is set at 120 minutes before departure.
As the travel period peaks, passengers are encouraged to stay informed and prepare adequately to ensure a hassle-free journey.
