Jet2 Resolves Baggage Confusion Over Extra 10kg Allowance for Passengers

Jet2 Resolves Baggage Confusion Over Extra 10kg Allowance for Passengers

**Jet2 Clarifies 'Extra 10kg' Baggage Rule After Passenger Confusion**

Jet2 has recently addressed passenger confusion regarding its baggage allowances. The low-cost airline confirmed how its additional baggage weight rules function, following several inquiries from travellers. They emphasized that the extra 10kg can indeed be included with existing baggage limits, ensuring clarity for customers.

Some passengers reported differing information regarding baggage allowances during their travels. One traveller expressed frustration, stating, “On the way out with you we were told it's fine to have a 32kg case (22kg + the 10kg). On the way back we were told the 10kg should be a separate small checked case. Please can you clarify which it is and what the rules are because on our last holiday with you we were told different things."

In response, Jet2 clarified, “The additional 10kg is applied to one adult's baggage, allowing for a total of one bag at 32kg and one bag at 22kg.” This confirmation comes after an increase in passenger inquiries, as the company aims to ensure that all travellers understand the baggage rules fully.

Ensuring clarity in baggage policies is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction, especially as travel increases. Jet2's proactive steps to resolve this confusion reflect their commitment to improving the passenger experience.
