The strikes will involve a range of airport service and security personnel. "A series of protests articulated at the local level, in different sectors, which threaten to put air transport on hold," states the report. Workers at Enav in Rome, Adr Security in Fiumicino, and handling companies in Palermo are among those participating.

The planned strike is scheduled to last for eight hours, commencing at 10 am and concluding at 6 pm. "This is going to be an eight-hour strike; it's going to start at 10am and finish at 6pm," warns Kate. The disruption will especially affect flights within Italy, impacting both pilots and cabin crew during this time.
