Pat Montandon, a former television star and ex-wife of legendary singer Frank Sinatra, has passed away. She died in a care home, surrounded by loved ones, according to statements made by her son, Sean Wilsey.
Wilsey confirmed that Montandon had been declining in health. "My mom stopped eating a week ago and stopped drinking a few days later. I flew out from New York yesterday and spent the night at her side. She passed away this morning but was able to see her two grandchildren, Owen and Mira Wilsey, last month. Owen and Mira called and gave her their love last night, and it was clear that she heard them. She passed surrounded by love," Wilsey remarked.
Montandon was remembered for her "great love and dignity" during her final moments. Her son emphasized the importance of family as they gathered around her in her last days.
