# F1 LIVE: Charles Leclerc Addresses Lewis Hamilton's Sprint Race Controversy as Mercedes Situation Clarified

Charles Leclerc expressed his dissatisfaction with Lewis Hamilton's driving during the Chinese Grand Prix sprint event, which took place recently. In a challenging race, Leclerc finished behind the two Mercedes drivers and felt he struggled on the track, citing difficulties in adjusting to the car's demands.

Leclerc noted, “Yes I think so there wasn't much more for us. For me I'm struggling a lot in this track, on top of that these cars have to be driven a bit differently in qualifying, there is work being done on us trying to get closer to Mercedes.” This insight reflects the competitive pressure faced by Ferrari as they aim to keep up with their rivals.

In response to Hamilton, Leclerc confirmed that he had not spoken to his Ferrari teammate regarding the incident but reassured fans, stating, “No we didn't speak but it will be fine [for the race].”
