easyJet Advises Passengers to Obtain Travel Insurance Before Travel

### easyJet Urges Passengers to Complete Key Task Before Departing for Airport
Passengers planning to fly with easyJet need to prioritize an important task before heading to the airport, according to recent advice from the airline. Their guidance emphasizes the importance of being prepared for potential issues during travel.
Before travelling, easyJet strongly recommends that passengers obtain travel insurance. This step is crucial, as "a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) only entitles you to basic state medical care in participating countries; it doesn't cover you for repatriation. You can apply for a GHIC on the NHS website," the airline highlighted.
Additionally, the airline advises passengers to ensure they share their travel details with someone close. "Leave a copy of your travel details with your next of kin or an emergency contact," easyJet stated. By taking these steps, passengers can better safeguard their journey and respond effectively to unexpected situations.
