Dubai International Airport has reportedly been targeted as Iranian forces launched drone strikes aimed at the United Arab Emirates (UAE). These attacks were confirmed earlier today, escalating tensions in the region.

The strikes involved a coordinated assault where Iranian ballistic missiles and drones were deployed against various locations within the UAE. According to statements from officials, "The ministry explained that since the start of the attack, 137 Iranian ballistic missiles were detected being launched towards the country, 132 of which were destroyed, while 5 fell into the sea. 209 Iranian drones were also detected, 195 of which were intercepted, while 14 fell within the country's territory and waters, causing some collateral damage."

In response to these threats, the UAE Ministry of Defence mobilized swiftly. "The ministry confirmed that the relevant authorities immediately mobilized with full readiness and resources to deal with the situation according to the procedures approved for such cases, and that the necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of residents and secure the affected sites."
