# Donald Trump declares he would 'be proud' to bomb Colombia and Mexico in stark warning

Former President Donald Trump made controversial remarks earlier this week during a press conference at the White House, where he met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino and members of the administration's task force. The comments centered on addressing drug trafficking issues in Mexico and Colombia, emphasizing a willingness to take aggressive actions against these countries to combat the drug problem affecting the United States.

Trump explicitly stated his views on Mexico and the escalating drug crisis during the event. "Would I launch strikes on Mexico to stop drugs? It's OK with me. Whatever we have to do to stop drugs," he declared. He referred to ongoing issues in Mexico City, noting a significant need for intervention. Stressing the effectiveness of measures taken against drug influxes through waterways, he pointed out their success, claiming a reduction of drug traffic by nearly 85%.

He further voiced similar sentiments regarding Colombia, pointing to its cocaine manufacturing operations. "Colombia has cocaine factories where they make cocaine. Would I knock out those factories? I would be proud to do it personally. I didn't say I'm doing it, I would be proud to do it," he added, underlining his tough stance on drug production.

The discussion also included the White House task force's commitment to manage the logistics behind hosting major global sporting events. An official statement emphasized that this task force "will facilitate comprehensive planning, organisation, and execution of the largest sporting events in the history of mankind."
