**Doctor Warns of Holiday Food Risks for Endometriosis Sufferers**

An expert has issued a warning to those with endometriosis about certain foods to avoid during the festive season. Endometriosis is a common health issue affecting many women. The advice comes as people prepare for Christmas feasts.

The doctor highlighted that festive treats can contain ingredients that might trigger pain for some women. Foods high in fat, gluten, or dairy can increase inflammation and discomfort. The expert advises that avoiding these items could be beneficial during this time.

"Christmas treats are inevitable, but being mindful to minimize inflammatory foods which can be high fat, gluten or dairy for some women and to ensure you are eating an abundance of healthy fats, vegetables and fruits will help to support a healthy gut and immune system and reduce inflammation and IBS symptoms which can increase pain," the expert stated.

Kristen, a fundraising coordinator, referenced the challenges, noting the experience of having "dreaded endo belly." This highlights the importance of awareness around food choices for those affected by this condition.

As Christmas approaches, it's essential for individuals with endometriosis to consider what they eat to manage their symptoms effectively.
