Dallas Hosts Inaugural XENOM Decathlon of Fitness, Setting New Standards in Competitive Athletic Performance

# Dallas Hosts the First-Ever XENOM Decathlon of Fitness™, Launching a New Era of Competitive Fitness
Last weekend, the inaugural XENOM Decathlon of Fitness took place at the Dallas Cowboys' training complex. Over 550 athletes participated in this brand-new 10-event fitness format, marking a significant moment in competitive fitness.
The two-day event tested strength, endurance, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning. This competition generated the first official Elite Performance Index (EPI) scores, which will serve as benchmarks for future events worldwide.
In the Elite Individual categories, Abigail Domit and Jack Farlow set XENOM World Records with EPI scores of 8,076 and 7,688 points, respectively. Both winners received $25,000 in prize money. The Elite Female Pairs title went to Olivia Kerstetter and Kyra Milligan, who scored 9,764 points, while Colten Mertens and Chris Ibarra won the Elite Male Pairs with 9,337 points, earning $12,500 each.
### Key Highlights from the Weekend
Dan Bailey, the CrossFit legend, made his return to competition at age 42 after 11 years. His performance attracted large crowds, and he broke nearly all of his previous training scores. Unfortunately, he had to withdraw on Day 002 due to an injury flare-up.
The competition also featured a close battle between Abbie Domit and Emily Rolfe for the world record. Only one point separated them going into Day 002. Domit excelled in Event 009, completing 42 reps at 100kg in the Heavy Clean Ladder. Although Rolfe won Event 010, she could not overcome Domit’s overall lead.
Another highlight was the debut of the ROGUE Air Rhino equipment, which was tested for the first time during Event 007: The Rhino Pull. Competitors faced a unique resistance system that was a new challenge for everyone.
In a thrilling contest, Jack Farlow and Bill Leahy fought closely for the top spot. Farlow triumphed by winning three of the last five events on Day 002, securing the World Record.
Keith Barlow, Founder and CEO of XENOM, remarked, “What happened in Dallas this weekend was bigger than a competition. Walk into that arena and you feel it immediately, from the energy, the noise, the sheer joy of it.” He emphasized the uplifting experience for the athletes and their supporters, stating this event was the beginning of a larger movement.
### What’s Next for XENOM?
The event in Dallas signifies an important moment for the fitness industry, highlighting a strong interest among high-performance athletes for large-scale competitions that focus on measurable performance. XENOM aims to build a global sporting framework around competitive fitness with professional production and top-notch venues.
The Dallas competition kicked off XENOM’s inaugural season, with more events planned across the United States and Europe. The next competition will be in London on August 29-30, where athletes will continue to compete using the same 10-event benchmark. Future events are also scheduled for Miami and Paris as the series expands.
As the scores were finalized and the first champions celebrated, the Decathlon of Fitness concluded its first event. For XENOM, this marks the starting point of a new chapter in competitive fitness.
