Chris Tarrant Expresses Fond Memories of Encounter with Ziggy Stardust

# Chris Tarrant Shares Adoration for Male Music Star on Radio X
Chris Tarrant, the well-known broadcaster, revealed his admiration for a prominent male musician during an appearance on Radio X. This light-hearted admission occurred while he was hosting The Breakfast Show recently, highlighting Tarrant's candidness about his experiences in the entertainment industry.
During the broadcast, Tarrant recounted a memorable encounter with the musician, famously known as Ziggy Stardust. He described how the artist arrived at the studio unaccompanied, casually dressed, and full of charm. Tarrant reminisced, "But he came in on The Breakfast Show. Bearing in mind he was just this huge star, and he was on his way back to the States to see his new baby, and he just ambled in about sort of 10 minutes early. I went, 'Oh my god, it's Ziggy Stardust!' He had sort of old mac on, no PR people around, and no managers. And he was just the nicest bloke. And I've always thought, 'What a man!'"
Their interaction further showcased the musician's down-to-earth nature when, after the show, he declined an offer for a taxi home, opting instead for the tube, as noted: "But apparently afterwards they said, 'Oh, do you want us to get you a taxi home?' And he just went, 'No, it's fine, it's quicker on the tube.'" This anecdote underlines the bond formed between them, leaving a lasting impact on Tarrant.
