EasyJet Passengers Advised of Potential Disruptions Due to July 5 Strike

EasyJet Passengers Advised of Potential Disruptions Due to July 5 Strike

# EasyJet Passengers Warned About Upcoming Strike on July 5

EasyJet passengers are advised to prepare for significant disruptions as a strike is scheduled for July 5. The industrial action will affect flight operations in Italy, where pilots and flight attendants are set to walk off the job for a full 24-hour period, from midnight to 11:59 PM.

The strike, organized by key unions such as FILT?CGIL, FIT?CISL, UILT?UIL, UGL Trasporto Aereo, and ANPAC, may lead to the cancellation and delay of numerous flights to and from Italian airports. Travelers flying with EasyJet should verify their flight status directly with the airline to avoid any unexpected issues.

“If you're travelling to Italy on July 5, you may well already be aware that multiple strikes are set to take place involving air traffic control and ground handling staff. But, now another one has been added to the calendar,” the Strike Tracker website noted.

This upcoming strike adds to the aviation challenges within the country, making it crucial for passengers to stay informed about their travel plans.
