AI Breakthrough Reveals Likely Authors of Biblical Texts Through Language Analysis

# Groundbreaking AI Analysis Identifies Likely Authors of Biblical Texts

A team of researchers has successfully employed artificial intelligence to determine the likely authors behind various Biblical texts. By analyzing word usage and sentence structures, this innovative approach reveals distinct writing styles that date back to antiquity.

The advanced AI model discovered three different scribal traditions, which are visually represented in colors for clarity. This discovery is significant for scholars aiming to better understand the origins of scripture. “We found that each group of authors has a different style – surprisingly, even regarding simple and common words such as ‘no,’ ‘which,’ or ‘king,’” explained Thomas Römer, a professor at the Collège de France.

This analytical method opens new possibilities for dating ancient texts. Faigenbaum-Golovin stated, “We concluded that the findings in those inscriptions could offer valuable clues for dating texts from the Old Testament.” The project began when the team recognized the necessity for rigorous analysis of historical documents, as Faigenbaum-Golovin noted, “That's when we started putting together our current team, who could help us analyze these biblical texts.”

This AI approach resembles techniques used in forensic document examination, where experts might assess fragments of historical documents to ascertain their authenticity. Faigenbaum-Golovin added, “If you're looking at document fragments to find out if they were written by Abraham Lincoln, for example, this method can help determine if they are real or just a forgery.”
