Ashwagandha May Help Lower Anxiety and Improve Sleep, Research Suggests

# Ancient Herb Reduces Anxiety and Aids Sleep

A well-known herb called ashwagandha is gaining attention for its ability to decrease anxiety and improve sleep. This herb has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, particularly in India, and is now being highlighted for its modern health benefits.

Wellness expert Beverley Law, who founded ALL Creative, stated, "Natural stress solutions have soared in recent years." This growing interest comes as many people look for natural ways to manage stress and improve their well-being.

Research supports these claims. Dr. Mason explained, "In a study, 60 adults with high stress levels were split into two groups. One group took 240mg of ashwagandha extract daily, while the other received a placebo. After 60 days, those taking ashwagandha showed significantly reduced anxiety scores - alongside lower cortisol levels - compared to the placebo group."

Beverley also highlighted the importance of sleep, saying, "Without proper sleep, your mind and body can't recover effectively, and stress levels remain high." This underscores the connection between adequate rest and anxiety management.

As more people seek alternative treatments, ashwagandha continues to be a popular option for those struggling with stress and sleep issues.
